Peacemakers hostage, but alive

Four members of the Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) were taken hostage, but are presumed alive. They include: Tom Fox (age 54, Clearbrook, VA), Norman Kember (age 74, London, England). Jim Loney (age 41, Toronto, Canada). Harmeet Singh Sooden (age 32, Canada)

Iraq Students Head Back to School

Primary and Secondary students throughout Iraq headed back to school this week, amidst very hard security, service and living conditions, kidnapping and assaults.

Draft Iraq Constitution

A proposed Iraqi constitution has been drafted by the interim Iraqi Government assisted by the occupying forces. According to the "Law of Administration for the State of Iraq for the Transitional Period" the new constitution will be presented to the Iraqi people for approval in a constitutional ratification referendum to be held no later than October 15, 2005.
